Summer Institute 2009: Building on 10 Years of Excellence and Commitment! Mark your calendar now for June 16-19 and make plans to be in beautiful North Charleston at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center. It's a special year for the Campaign as we celebrate 15 years of the organization and 10 years of the Summer Institute.
Highlights will include keynotes from Dr. Pat Cooper, CEO of the Early Childhood and Family Learning Foundation, Celebrity Judge Glenda Hatchett, and Deborah L. Tackmann, Health Education Instructor/Consultant. And don't miss the following receptions/networking opportunities:

General Conference Scholarships
The South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is pleased to offer scholarships to attend the 2009 Summer Institute to be held June 16 - 19, 2009 in Charleston, SC. The Institute promotes the use of research proven strategies to prevent teen pregnancy and is designed for people such as community leaders, faith-based leaders, educators, counselors, social workers, health professionals, family-serving professionals, and community-based program directors who work with youth.
The Campaign will award scholarships to cover registration and/or lodging at the conference hotel. Recipients will be responsible for the cost of their travel and food.
How to Apply: Complete the scholarship application (pdf) and return it to the Campaign no later than 5:00 pm on May 22, 2009.
NOTE: The Campaign will not accept late nor incomplete applications. Scholarship recipients will be notified of their award status by May 30, 2009. In lieu of cash award distribution, the recipient's registration fee and hotel accommodations will be processed by the Campaign.
Murray Vincent Outstanding Prevention Professional Award
The Murray L. Vincent Outstanding Prevention Professional Award is the highest and most distinguished award given by the SC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy.
